There are many fun-filled, unique local area attractions and things for you to do while you’re here in the North Georgia Mountains. The Hotel is located just across from the historic Hall’s Boat House Marina where rental boats can be brought for your use on Lake Rabun and only a few minutes from the public Lake Rabun Beach for swimming. We’re happy to make reservations for boat rentals, fine dining, horseback riding, fly fishing instruction, white water rafting or any number of events or activities you may choose while you’re here.

Waterfalls
Angel Falls and Angel-Panther Falls - These falls are about 50 feet high. Another set of falls is about 1/2 mile upstream.
Directions: From Clayton, take U.S. 441/23 south for 7 miles. Turn right on unnumbered country road for .1 mile, then turn left on GA Hwy 15 for 2 miles. Turn right on County Road 10 and go 5 miles. Enter Rabun Beach Campground #2 entrance and go .2 mile to parking area on right. Trailhead is 80 feet to the north. You will be at Angel-Panther Falls. To reach Angel Falls, hike up another .3 mile.
Minnehaha Falls - This great waterfall is approximately 100 feet high with a combination of falling and shoaling cascades. It is one of the most scenic falls in the area, and has an easy access walking trail of less than a quarter mile.
Directions: Take U.S. 23/441 north from Tallulah Falls for three miles to the Rabun Beach Recreation Area sign. Turn left onto Old 441. Go 2.5 miles and take a left on Lake Rabun Road. Go 1 mile past Recreation area. Take a left on Low Gap Road. Follow Bear Gap road which forks to the left. Go 1.5 miles to the sign marking the trail on the right side of the road.
Toccoa Falls - This spectacular waterfall, 19 feet higher than Niagara Falls, is located on the campus of Toccoa Falls college. A meandering stream flows through the lower part of the 1100-acre wood campus from the base of the 186-foot high falls.
Directions: Go on Highway 17 north of Toccoa. Follow the signs to the campus.
