OUR HOTEL ROOMS
Each room in our historic hotel features private baths and plush, downy queen sized beds that welcome sweet dreams. Each has its own rustic charm, one of a kind hand crafted Adirondack mirrors, lighting, and clothes racks. We currently have 8 rooms available in the main hotel. All rooms include breakfast from 8:00 am – 9:30 am in our hotel restaurant or on our outside deck under the shelter of our timberframed roof surrounded by hemlocks and pines. For early risers a pot full of gourmet coffee is waiting just outside your door. Enjoy your first cup on the balcony overlooking the lake. Let it dazzle you awake.

THE ANDREAE ROOM – Named after the original owner and the founder of Lakemont, this room is the cornerstone of the hotel and features the original stone fireplace and a view of the lake.

THE LAKE RABUN ROOM – Fall asleep to the gentle sounds of flowing water outside your windows. This room also features a view of the lake and our gold fish pond with waterfall.

THE GARDEN ROOM – Has its own black locust log deck with a view of Lake Rabun. Enjoy private moments with a view.

THE LAKEMONT ROOM – Named for the quaint historic village of Lakemont, this room is a staff favorite with treetop views and windows facing the lake.

THE LEGEND ROOM – This room has windows facing North and comes complete with a "Dream Catcher" to encourage sweet dreams. Native Americans believed that these hoops of willow and bits of Nature have the power to catch all negative dreams.

THE MOONSHINE ROOM – This room with windows facing the lake is intimate with a little mountain history only discovered in the magical liquid of moonshine! Historic pictures of local moonshiners adorn the walls.

THE TALLULAH ROOM – A Native American word that means "leaping water." It's been said that a young brunette woman sometimes visits this room in spirit. She's said to be kind. This room is located on the west end of the hotel with windows facing the lake.

THE MINNEHAHA ROOM – A Native American word that means "laughing water". This room is located on the west end of the hotel with windows facing North and is named in honor of Minnehaha Falls, a spectacular waterfall with 100 foot cascade located only 10 minutes from the hotel.
