| Over the 4th of July week, it was our pleasure to, host the Seydels at the Lake Rabun Hotel and Restaurant.
This annual gathering of family, allowed us the opportunity to host one of Lake Rabun’s early families. With family dinners, themed nights and social events, the week-long Seydel celebration is a generational mix filled with love and fun. We loved the breakfast this morning and appreciate your kindness. We were still minus 7 but we did well to assemble this many of my dad’s gene carriers, cousins, and mates. | One of the newest and most exciting programs offered by the Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant is our off-site catering services.
The Sims were one of the first Lake Rabun people to bring their family to dine at the newly restored and opened Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant back in 2008. Last week they were our first family to take advantage of our new catering and delivering services. The Meals, Sooooo delicious and savory! Delivered by the Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant’s staff it was always on time and we were always ready to eat! The Lake Rabun Hotel provided dinners 5 nights in a row for 22 people. We couldn’t wait for each meal to arrive because it was all amazing! When we first met with Mickey, the General Manager, to determine our menus she said “you tell me what you want and we’ll do it.” And so she did. All the meals for my daughter’s wedding were delicious gourmet meals. What was so wonderful was it allowed us to focus 100% on time with our family, instead of cooking. Thank you Lake Rabun Hotel, The Sims Summer is the time for reunions, gatherings and entertaining family and friends It’s a very happy time on the lake sharing all the fun things to see and do. Our New Catering/Delivering Service for big parties allows the hosts to fully enjoy being with their families and guests.
